CCW Class Update

Due to the COVID-19 Virus Governor Sisolak has ordered the Sherriff to inform all CCW Instructors to halt all classes immediately until further notice. The governor has also ordered the closure of the Clark County Shooting Complex where all training takes place. This has forced us to close our business down and no longer leave us access to our training rooms and offices. At this time we will not be processing any refunds until we are allowed to resume business. However, to those who have already signed up to a class that was canceled or is coming up in April, we will be informing everyone once classes are allowed to resume for rescheduling. Due to the increase in gun sales and the need for CCW Permits a heavy influx of new students are signing up or interested in signing up. If you are interested in securing a seat then you may still sing up via our website www.TriadDefense.Vegas for a future class date. If any more classes are forced to cancel due to the virus your spot will be secure and you will get first pick of all rescheduled dates. We understand this has been a frustrating time for everyone, we want to ensure you we are on top of the information and will resume our classes immediately once we are given the green light from Metropolitan police department.

Any permit that Expires from March 17th will be valid until July 15th LVMPD Sheriff Lombardo has given you a 120 Day temporary Extension (This is NOT a rolling 120 Days). Basically all permits with expiration dates in the time frame given will expire on July 15th. Please be aware this is ONLY for CLARK County. LVMPD officers have been made aware of these extensions. Other states that have reciprocity with us will not be aware of this and will NOT Honor it.

In regards to the Online Applications and questions from LVMPD. Metro will start accepting online Application ONLY once the fingerprint and records bureau reopen. THIS IS NOT AN ONLINE CCW COURSE and does not excuse anyone from the standard 8-hour training Class.  Students will still be required to take the full 8 hours authorized course set and forth by the Nevada Sheriffs and Chiefs association. This simply allows citizens to complete the written portion of the Applications online and make an appointment at the fingerprint and records bureau to sign their application in person and complete their fingerprints and photo. Thank you all for your patience as we are all trying to work and make it through these troubling times.
